Last week myself and the lovely ladies from Prop The Question had a socially distanced play day and did a cheeky little mini styled shoot to combat the boredom and withdrawal from missing weddings!! It was lovely to be able to pick up my camera and take some pretty pictures for an hour!
We met up at the gorgeous Boat House at Aston Marina and Kerry & Kendal threw together a few little simple but stunning set-ups.
Kendal & her hubby Gary modelled for us which was lovely as they actually got married at this beautiful venue for real! They totally rocked the shoot too and I think Gary was secretly loving it! ;)
Also how gorgeous is Kendal's dress!!
Take a look though some of the images and check out their work! If you're searching for venue dressers with more of a vintage and rustic feel then look no further. These ladies will take good care of you!
I can't wait to get back to some normality, I'm missing weddings MASSIVELY and can't wait to see all my lovely couples as soon as we're safely able to!
If you're looking for a wedding photographer for your big day get in touch to tell me all about it.
Next year is looking crazy busy (due to having to squeeze in 2020 couples as well as 2021!) so don't leave it too long as dates are going fast!
xx
I can't believe it's been nearly a year since Becky & Paul got married at the beautiful Shottle Hall last June! It was my first visit to this venue and I must say it didn't disappoint!
Becky looked STUNNING in her dress from WED2B and Paul scrubbed up rather nicely too. They spent the gorgeous sunny day surrounded by friends and family and lots of love and laughter. So much laughter! My cheeks hurt by the time I got home! These guys know how to party! HARD!
I ADORED being a part of their wedding and can't wait until lockdown life is over as Becky is going to be having a beautiful baby boy soon and I want to be the one to get some photos of him!!!
Special shout out to the Best Man George for being the most awesome portable light stand!! Haha! And to wedding guest Cloey for being HILARIOUS!!
More love given to the following suppliers for doing such an amazing job:
MakeUp - Jane - Bridal Beauty
Hair - Jeremy Myles
Flowers - Iona's Flower Girl
Venue Dresser - Iced & Spliced
Last August I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Lucy & Tom's amazing wedding at the stunning Hedsor House! I also had the lovely Kayleigh along with me to second shoot.
It was a beautiful day and the bride looked out of this world in her gorgeous dress from Wedding Belles | Of Four Oaks.
The venue was covered in floral works of art by the amazing Amie Bone Flowers including a HUGE flower wall which was just fabulous and smelt divine!
Jennifer Kayleigh Makeup Artist worked her magic in the morning along with Nathan Oath-HairLounge and the bride and her maids looked gorgeous.
The guests were entertained thoroughly throughout the day with Will Gray - Magician performing some mind-blowing magic tricks. Then during the meal they had a fabulous surprise as The Singing Waiter Masters put on a fantastic show.....seriously the BEST singing waters I have ever seen! Everyone was up on their feet and dancing along!
The cake by Elizabeths Cake Emporium looked yummy as hell and if I could have fit it in the car it would have been coming home with me!
The band had everyone dancing away into the night and then it was finished off with an amazing firework display!
I had the best day ever and was truly honoured to be able to capture it all!
xx
Big shout outs also to Caper & Berry, Class Act Productions, Apollo String Quartet, Pyromania Displays, Atlantica & Mark Shipperley Films.
As it's Valentine's Day I'm feeling the love!

2019 was full of gorgeous weddings and awesome couples!
For me weddings are all about the emotion, those little moments throughout the day that tell your story. From getting ready in the morning until late in the evening, I will be there to record it all.
Last year took me to so many beautiful venues and all over the country! From fabulous local wedding venues (The Boat House at Aston Marina, Alcumlow Wedding Barn, The Ashes, Sandon Hall) to Warwickshire's Walton Hall Hotel and Buckinghamshire's STUNNING Hedsor House!
Other venues that I had the joy to visit include Rookery Hall, Consall Hall, The Upper House, Weston Hall , Shottle Hall, Dovecliff Hall Hotel, The Moat House, Acton Trussell, Keele Hall, The Three Horseshoes and Moddershall Oaks. I captured so many wonderful wedding days and each one of them was perfect!
As always a great big thank you to all my wonderful couples. Without you I wouldn't be able to do this thing that I love so very much. I have the most amazing job preserving these moments for you. It's truly an honour to be trusted to capture your memories and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
2020 is looking to be just as busy and I have lots of lovely new venues across the country to look forward to shooting at. I'm also now happy to say that I'm a recommended supplier at the new and stunning Standon Hall and CAN NOT WAIT to shoot there!
I have a few dates left for 2020 (but not many!) and availability for 2021/2022 is filling up fast so if you're looking for a photographer get in touch ASAP to tell me all about your big day!
Once again it's been hard to narrow down so many amazing weddings. It's always so hard to decide which pictures to include from the hundreds to choose from!
And once again I'm giving you the choice. You can scroll down the images below at your own leisure or you can sit back, turn up the volume, click on the slideshow and take in this years awesomeness in full. Or you can go nuts and do both! ;)
Please show me some blog love and leave a little comment.....
Until next time.....xx

I'd been wanting to do a styled shoot for soooo long but never had the time.....until earlier this year!
I got in touch with Aishah at The Boat House as it's one of my fave venues and I'm one of the recommended suppliers there. It's the perfect venue as it's such a blank canvas! Then I messaged Laura from Elegant Affair to see if they wanted to collaborate. Thankfully they are both superstars and excitedly said yes!
We decided that a greenery themed wedding with hints of gold and neutrals and a mix of geometrics and acrylics thrown in would be perfect for what we had in mind. Laura created lots of stunning centrepieces and dressed the venue to perfection. Her fabulous "Moongate" was a key element of the shoot so she created her "mini-moons" for the tables.
Although we themed it for Spring it's huge versatile for any time of the year simply by changing the greenery used and accent colours!
Aishah and I were really keen to have a "Sweethearts Table" rather than the usual top table showcased. It was perfect! With the Moongate behind and the table decorated with geometrics, floating candles, little bottles with flowers and eucalyptus hanging rom the front it was a masterpiece! The perfect setting for newlyweds to relax alone whilst taking in their wedding breakfast!
I roped in a friend and her partner to model for us and we chose other local suppliers for the final touches.
Doing the shoot in April was a bit risky (thanks to the joys of British weather!) but thankfully other than a couple of showers it stayed dry and went without a hitch!
Kristy & Daniel totally rocked the day and I love how perfect they are with each other!
Massive shout out to all the suppliers involved:
Venue: The Boat House, Aston Marina
Venue Dressing: Elegant Affair
Florist: Parsley & Sage
Dress: Bridal Couture By Josephine
Cake: Amerton Cakes
Suit: GENTS Formal Wear
Amanda & Dave got married last year at The Oak Tree Of Peover. It was a beautiful day with bright blue skies and lots of sunshine.
The bride looked absolutely stunning as did her bridal party and the groom scrubbed up nicely too!
The venue looked amazing and they even had a mini tipi outside for guest to lounge in or toast marshmallows!
The wedding party were treated to a surprise after their meal when Rae from Silver Service Singers - Singing Waiters broke into impromptu song! It definitely got everyone in the party mood!
The whole day was fantastic, packed full of happiness, emotion and so much love. I'm so happy they chose me to be a part of their big day!
Thank you guys! x
Kirsty & Ian got married earlier this year at Dovecliff Hall Hotel in Burton. It's a beautiful venue, an elegant Georgian Manor with stunning gardens.
Kirsty looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding dress from Robertas Bridal. Her make up was superbly done by the talented Laura Whitehurst MUA and looked flawless!
The Blossom Branch Wedding Florist provided the most beautiful bouquet and floral arrangements and they smelt amazing! Their friend Jodie made them a fabulous wedding cake which even had a little Batman head hidden at the top!
In case you're wondering why, Ian is certain that he is actually Batman!!
Kirsty & Ian make the cutest couple and it was an honour to be able to document their day for them.
I'm so happy they chose me to be their wedding photographer...the day was simply awesome! I even got to join the crazy table during the wedding meal!! ;)
Thank you guys for being so freaking amazing.....I loved your day so much! x
If you want to see more images from their day here's a little slideshow!

Donna & Richard got married at Holy Michael Archangel Church in Aston-by-Stone in August last year and then went on to celebrate in style at the beautiful Boat House at Aston Marina. This is one of my favourite venues to shoot at as there are so many fantastic locations for photos!
Although they got married at the church Donna & her bridesmaids all got ready in the morning at the venue making use of it's gorgeous bridal room.
The venue was styled by Elegant Affair in a lovely rustic floral theme with the most beautiful pink blossom trees dotted about! I made great use of shooting through these and even dragged one onto the dance floor in the evening!
Their wedding was perfect from beginning to end and they even had their dog Bandit come along to steal the show for a while!
A truly stunning wedding at a fabulous venue surrounded by lots of amazing people!
Jess & Dan got married at The Boat House at Aston Marina on 9th December 2017. Jess really wanted a white wedding and boy did she get one! The snow was really coming down in the morning but thankfully eased off after settling to create a perfect winter wonderland!
Jess looked absolutely stunning in her customised Provonias Ornani dress from Bridal Couture By Josephine paired with her beautiful Jimmy Choos! Her bridesmaids rocked their gorgeous burgundy chiffon & sequin floor length dresses. Dan looked super smart in his 3 piece suit and the boys all scrubbed up nicely!
They actually had a FIRST TOUCH photograph taken before they got married; this was something Jess had wanted for ages and it worked out amazingly! Dan stood outside the door and Jess stood inside the brides room and they held hands – it was so tempting to look but they resisted!!
The whole day was just perfect as they celebrated in style with their friends and family and the dance floor in the evening was a crazy fun mess.....just how I like it!!
Here's a selection of pictures from their fabulous wedding. You can sit back turn the volume up and enjoy........or you can keep reading and scroll down to see a few images from their day!
How did you meet?
We have been together since high school! So nearing 13 years when we got hitched.
Tell me your proposal story...
Dan proposed in Las Vegas at a rooftop bar overlooking the strip at midnight 21st September 2016. Las Vegas is very special to us and this was our 5th visit there. He proposed with a beautiful Emerald Soleste ring from Tiffanys which he had sourced from America. I always hoped he would propose when we were in Vegas but it was still a massive surprise as he hid the ring in his sock! Apparently he had been carrying it round for 2 days until he found the right time and place to propose. It took him 11 years to propose!
Why did you choose The Boat House At Aston Marina for your wedding day?
We wanted somewhere modern but with nice outdoor scenery. The Boat House hadn’t been open long and it was the first and only venue we viewed! We knew we didn’t want a traditional venue like a manor house or a barn and the interior of the Boat House really stood out with the lighting features.
What was it you loved about your outfits and accessories that made you choose them?
Every bride loves their dress but I ADORED mine, it was a Pronovias design with an open back and scalloped edge train. I had this customised with a belt and accessorised with Jimmy Choo shoes and a blush pink fur coat. As it snowed most of the day the coat was perfect, don’t know what I would of done without it!
My bridesmaids looked stunning in burgundy sequin dresses from ASOS and the groom and his groomsmen looked smart in their navy suits from Marc Darcy. The colours really popped against the snow.
Tell me about the vision you had for your wedding including theme/colour scheme/styling/flowers...
The flowers were simple and wintery, I let Nat the florist come up with all the ideas as I trusted her design and they were amazing.
We went for burgundy and silver with the decorations and favours as it was a bit christmassy without being OTT.
I wanted lots of candles and twinkly lights which the venue kindly accommodated and kept on top of replacing the candles over the course of the day.
We wanted a relaxed wedding with good food, lots of drinks and some good entertainment, I think we pulled it off!
We had a roulette table to pay homage to our Vegas proposal, and a DJ and saxophonist to get everyone up on the dance floor.
What was your first dance and why did you choose it?
We danced to Courteeners - Take over the world. They are our favourite band who we have been loads of times and this song and the lyrics was most relatable to us.
What were the most wonderful and memorable parts of the day for you?
Waking up to a snow covered scene on our wedding day was a dream come true. It made the whole day different and the pictures are phenomenal, people still talk about it now!
Dan’s father passed away in November 2015 and he would of loved to see us get married – to honour him Dan and the groomsmen decided to wear a black band on their left arms – it was such a nice touch and everybody knew what it meant to him.
We arranged with Sam and the venue for s a First touch photograph to be taken before we got married. This added to the excitement as we could feel each other but not see each other. I love how these phots turned out and they are so rare it’s nice to have something different in our album!
Why did you choose Samantha Jayne Photography and what was your experience of your photography on the day?
We chose Sam as she was photographer at a wedding where I was bridesmaid and remember how dedicated and slightly mental she is to getting the best photos.
Honestly I don’t know how to explain how amazing sam was. She lay in the snow to take photos, sat warming my feet up in a towel after I’d been traipsing through the snow and went above and beyond to get the perfect shots. She made everyone feel totally relaxed which was important as we didn’t want anything to appear too staged.
What would be your best bit of advice to other couples planning their wedding?
Don’t fret about the little things, in the long run it won’t matter and you probably won’t even notice! Our 5ft LOVE letters didn’t show up and it took me till evening to realise!
A big shout out to all the suppliers for Jess & Dans' big day!

Today I met up with Lucy & Tom at the picturesque Trentham Gardens for their Pre-Wedding photoshoot.
This pair absolutely ROCKED it! Not only are they so obviously in love and totally cute together but they also came colour coordinated!!! The photographer in me was over the moon!
I'm super excited for their wedding this August at the STUNNING Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire. Especially after seeing how relaxed and at ease they are with each other. It makes my job so much easier!!
Here are a few of the images from their shoot.... enjoy!
To see the full gallery click here....
Engagement sessions are one of my favourite things to photograph. It's a great opportunity to get to know my couples before their wedding and see how they interact with each other. A lot of people don't feel comfortable being photographed. This gives them an idea of how I work and puts them at ease before the most important day of their lives!
Reasons I think engagement shoots are great and a must have....
The more time you spend with your photographer the more comfortable you'll be in front of the lens. A relaxed and happy couple make for much nicer natural images of the two of you. Remember, your photographer will be with you for HOURS on your wedding day capturing all those intimate moments and preserving one of the most emotional days of your life. Not only does this give me the opportunity to get to know you but you also get to know me!
Ladies...this can be the perfect time to do a trial run for your hair/make-up! Wedding make-up tends to be heavier for photos so this is a great opportunity to see how it will look in the final photos!
A lot of my couples have used the images from their engagement session in their wedding decor, whether it's a centrepieces for their tables, hanging photos around their venue or a great big framed image with room around for all your guests to sign!
For an extra personal touch you could use one of the images from your shoot for your 'Save The Date'....
A lot of my couples also have kids or dogs, what better way than to show off your beautiful family than bringing them along and including them!
On top of this it's just a perfect chance to have some quality time with each other before your big day, away from the stress of planning and to create some beautiful images for the two of you!
Wow....where to start?
Last year was absolutely AWESOME!
The best start to 2018 was being announced the Bridebook Wedding Photographer Of The Year!! I was on top of the world and I think I did a happy dance for about 3 months, seriously! To be chosen out of THOUSANDS of other photographers all over the UK is just AMAZING! Oh and I got a gorgeous trophy posted out to me.... ;)
For anyone who is planning their wedding I highly recommend downloading the Bridebook planning app. It's an invaluable tool for sure!
I normally try to only shoot between 20 - 25 weddings per year as I shoot a lot of other events and portraits etc but last year I photographed 28 beautiful couples on their special days as well as second shooting for a few fellow photographers. I'm truly honoured to be able to capture these special memories for them.
I returned to a lot of familiar and fabulous venues over the year including Aston Marina, The Ashes Barns, The Upper House, Carden Park Hotel, Keele Hall, Somerford Hall and many more.
I also got to visit a lot of new places ( I do love a new venue!) some of which were The Oak Tree Of Peover, Alcumlow Wedding Barn, Alrewas Hayes, The Mill Barns and also a very unique family farm wedding including cows!!
It's always hard to narrow down sooooo many images from sooooo many beautiful weddings but I've done my best!
I'm giving you a choice this year! You can click on the slideshow and sit back as lots of gorgeous images flash before your eyes or you can take a scroll down at the few images below at your own leisure! If you want to go nuts you can do both! ;)
I've got lots of lovely weddings booked in for this year to look forward to including a few more new venues to shoot at. My favourite is TOTALLY going to be the absolutely STUNNING Hedsor House! I'm so excited!!!
I do have some availability for 2019 and 2020 so get in touch to tell me all about your big day!
Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think. It would mean a lot to me!
Enjoy. xx

All the couples that book a full day package with me get a pre-wedding shoot included. This is a lovely chance for them to get to know me better before the big day and to give them an idea of how I work. It's also nice to talk to them about their plans for air wedding and how everything is coming along.
If my couples have children/dogs I always suggest they bring them along to make the most of their shoot. Not only does this put them at ease a lot quicker but they'll end up with some lovely images to treasure!
We walked around the grounds and I soon had Alex at ease. I think it helped that he was laughing at me as I got in the bushes to get the shot I wanted!
Here's a quick selection of the images.... enjoy!
Venue: The Upper House Barlaston
We arranged to have their pre-wedding shoot at the fabulous Trentham Gardens and to bring their adorable kids with them to make it more of a day out! I love it when a couple brings their children with them, it's easier to get some lovely natural photos of them all enjoying themselves.
We spent hours wandering around and the kids LOVED the fairy trail as well as the adventure playground and the barefoot walk! To be fair...who wouldn't! :)
I'm so very pleased that they ended up booking me and that I got to capture their awesome day just two weeks later!
It was a beautiful day with lots of fabulous people. The children were all so cute and better behaved than I am! Stephanie looked absolutely stunning in her dress, Richard looked very dapper, the pair of them together are super cute and so very obviously in love.
I won't bore you with me waffling on as i have a tendency to do so will just let you enjoy some of the images from their day.....
xx
Venue: The Manor House Hotel Alsager
Make-Up: Jessica Amy Makeup
Hair: The talented Bride herself!
Flowers: Flower Passion (Alsager)
That stunning dress: Fellow Bridebook Wedding Award Winner Sarah's Wedding Boutique (Northwich)
This lovely couple tie the knot in October at Carden Park Hotel and I can not wait! I'm especially looking forward to the dance floor in the evening as Matt is well known for throwing some serious shapes!! ;)
Matt was a little nervous before we started but soon relaxed and felt at ease. It helped that Kelly made him laugh, a lot! It's so lovely when you have a couple that are so natural together...makes my job so easy.
Here are just a few from their engagement shoot.
Enjoy.... xx
WOW! What a year 2017 was! So many awesome couples and gorgeous weddings!
Rather than have a huge blog post of hundreds of images (it's been so hard to whittle down from 21 amazing weddings this year) I decided to do a slideshow that I hope captures the essence of these days and what I do. I'm all about the emotion, those little moments throughout the day and of course the fun!
As always a big thank you to all my couples, without who I wouldn't have the most amazing job! It's truly an honour to be trusted to capture your memories and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Last year took me to so many beautiful venues, some of my favourites being Aston Marina in Stone, The Ashes at Endon, Somerford Hall in Brewood and Moddershall Oaks.
I also photographed at The Upperhouse Barlaston, Newton Park Hotel, Pershore Abbey, Harrowden Hall, Slaters Country Inn, Floral Hall, Ringwood Hall Hotel, The Manor House, Stoke Stadium, Keele Hall, and a few others as well as a couple of lovely family farm/field weddings!
I'm looking forward to this year. So far it's off to a fabulous start. I'm now a preferred supplier at the beautiful Boat House at Aston Marina. I've got lots of lovely new venues to visit. I'm shortlisted in the Bridebook 2017 Wedding Awards (roll on February to find out the results!!!) and I have a wedding booked in for next year in New York which is one I can tick off my bucket list!!
If you're looking for a photographer and like what you see please get in touch. I still have some remaining dates for 2018 and 2019 and am also taking bookings for 2020.
That's enough from me for now.....sit back, watch my highlights and enjoy! x

After having her hair done in the morning by Hair & Co she then had to go to work all day. When she finally finished in the evening she came straight to me and her hair still looked amazing and full of bounce! I'm totally jealous!
We'd borrowed a few dresses from To The Nines Boutique (directly under my studio!) for this shoot and were spoilt for choice! Jo has so many fabulous gowns!
Here's just a few favourites from the shoot.
I can't wait to shoot their wedding this Saturday. I've seen this pair in action on the dance floor at a previous wedding so I know what to look forward to!! ;)
Here's just a few of the images from their shoot.
This morning I headed off to The Ashes in Endon for a fabulous little pre-wedding shoot despite the weather. Amy & Rob bought their two little doggies with them who were just adorable! We grabbed a few shots with the dogs before they got too bored and then carried on with just the two of them.
I can't wait until the end of the month for their wedding at this amazing venue!
Here are a few images from their shoot.....enjoy! xx
The Ashes Exclusive Country House Barn Wedding Venue Staffordshire
As a photographer there is nothing that makes me happier than capturing a beautiful bride & groom on their wedding day. I absolutely LOVE weddings! From bridal preps through to the evening party there is so much going on and so many emotions that I'm like a kid in a sweet shop!
Not only do I get to travel to some of the most amazing venues all over the country (and sometimes abroad) but I get to be a part of so many peoples special day. It truly is an honour.
My approach to weddings is to capture the day as it happens in a relaxed and natural way. I much prefer those candid moments rather than to stop and pose the shot.
If you're looking for a photographer who is fun, friendly and just a little bit nuts then please get in touch to discus your wedding plans! I look forward to hearing all about them!
Meanwhile here are just a few images from various weddings over the last year.
This year will be a lot busier as the new studio should be ready by the beginning of February and I already have people waiting to book in!
Here are just a few of my favourites from 2016....
Well, where do I start?
2016 was a fabulous year for weddings! I traveled all over, captured some fabulous memories for people and generally had the best time ever! I'm so lucky to be able to do something that I truly love. I enjoy photographing all sorts of things but weddings are by far my favourite!
Last year I captured 17 special days as well as seconding shooting for a few other very talented photographers. It's always fun to do this as it gives you an opportunity to look for the shots that you wouldn't usually be able to get as the main shooter.
I have been all over the country. I even shot my first destination wedding in the south of France which was totally AMAZING!
This year has a lot to live up to...
It's impossible to narrow down my favourite images from the year (will try harder for the 2017 post!) so I'm just posting a few that I have to hand......
If you're looking for a photographer who is fun and friendly and approaches the day with a relaxed and natural style please get in touch!
Saturday I popped up to Trentham Gardens with this lovely couple to finally do their pre-shoot! We've already had to postpone once due to the weather and when I woke up in the morning to see a miserable sky and lots of rain I was praying to the sun gods for just a little reprieve!
Thankfully they seem to have heard my pleas and it stayed dry and fairly bright with the odd ray of sunshine!
I"m looking forward to Gemma & Dan's big day in April at Floral Hall in Tunstall.
Only downside is I think it may cost me a lot more than I realise.....the dresses are all so pretty and I want them...no sorry NEED them in my life!!
This was a shoot last year for The Sentinel to advertise the Prom & Partywear line.
Last year I was asked to take some quick images of some beautiful bridal bouquets by the talented girls at Natalie's Florist. I always love working for them as their flowers are truly stunning. They really are artists!
If you're looking for flowers for your wedding day I highly recommend you pay these girls a visit!!
On Sunday I had my second pre-wedding shoot of the year with this lovely little family. I have to say I haven't laughed so much in ages! I'm really looking forward to their wedding in February at The Upper House in Barlaston as it promises to be filled with lots of love and laughter.
Here are a few of my favourites...
Hey guys & girls.....Happy New year!
This year I am determined to keep up to date with my blogging. I'm actually terrible and can't remember the last time I did any? I now I said this last year too but I'm 100% going to stick to it this time....honest!
So to kick off the new year here are a few of my favourites from Hayley & Barry's pre-shoot on Saturday! I've known these two for years and can not wait until their wedding in April! It's guaranteed to be epic! Oh and full of men in kilts which is always fun! ;)
It was nice to get some pictures of the kids too, they're definitely going to keep me busy on the day!!
Oh my goodness, I've just realised I've been that busy that I haven't blogged anything since JUNE!! Now that wedding season is nearly over I think it's time to get myself up to date!
What better way to start than with some images of my two boys on a rare family day out at the beautiful flower fields in Pershore. It's an absolutely stunning place to visit especially if you love Delphiniums as I do! It's also a photographers dream!! So much pretty!!!
Plus if you have kids it's surrounded by corn fields. If they're are anything like my two they'll love running through them and playing hide and seek!
Enjoy!! x

Here are some of my favourites from the day!!
]]>
This lovely lady and I ventured out to the beautiful and scenic Cannock Chase yesterday for her maternity shoot. I think it's safe to say that she is one very scrummy "Yummy Mummy" to be!
I've known Jemma for years now so when she asked me to do this shoot I jumped at the chance. Deciding to go somewhere different was probably the best idea I've had in a while as this was the perfect setting to show of her gorgeous baby bump! She totally rocked the shoot!
I can't wait for a few weeks time when I'll get the opportunity to photography her precious baby boy too!
I'm actually a little bit in love with some of these images but one of my favourites has to be the last shot where it looks like she may actually be going into early labour....Jemma always makes me smile!
Enjoy...
xx
There were so many adorable children to capture during the day. I just LOVE kids at weddings! How cute are these little munchkins?!
Shout Outs go to the fabulous Claire - Champagne Whisper Bridal Makeup Artist - for a stunning job as always and also to Beth - Sweethearts Hair Design - for some beautiful wedding hair!
I'm not much for words and prefer to tell the story with my pictures so enjoy!

Here are a few of their stunning creations....
Enjoy.
Yesterday I was at The Kings hall in Stoke for a fabulous event! Diva Wedding Fayres in conjunction with To The Nines Bridal Boutique hosted a fantastic luxury bridal event and catwalk show for which I was the photographer. There were lots of brilliant suppliers exhibiting, gorgeous models (including Jade Thompson, winner of Britains Next Top Model) showcasing some stunning dresses, delicious crepes outside the venue by the awesome Lollapalooza (yummy and just what I needed after having to skip breakfast) and it was generally just an amazing day!
Here are just a few of the pictures....
Enjoy
To start this year off I thought I'd post my last wedding of 2015. This was a special one as it was also one of my best friends getting married.
After what seemed like forever the big day finally arrived, I was at Emma's house bright and breezy (she'd been forewarned to put the kettle on!) and ready for action. Apart from a few little hiccups (little Lily decided she wanted to play with mascara and get it all over her nice white dress!) everything went smoothly.
Although the weather was dismal and the wind was howling I was determined to get some decent pictures outside for my friend on her special day....even if it meant getting soaked to the bone myself. It didn't stop me from crossing my fingers in hope of a dry spell though.
The day flew by so very fast as all weddings seem to do. I highly recommend if you're getting married to take some time to yourselves on your wedding day. I advise this to all my bride & grooms. Just half an hour to take it all in and relax in each others company in peace.
Anyway....the day was beautiful, the bride was stunning, the groom scrubbed up pretty well too! The food was to die for, the guests were delightful and the venue was perfect for them.
Here's a few of the pictures from Emma & Phil's day.

Not one for many words, here's a few images from their fabulous day! Enjoy! :)
So many weddings to choose from but I thought I'd start with this one. I was gutted when I couldn't photograph Joanna's whole day for her due to being already booked. We used to model together and she's just one of those people that is truly gorgeous inside and out! You can't help but love her.
Joanna & Jamie got married at the exquisite Peckforton Castle in Tarporley. Yet another reason why I was devastated not be be capturing this special day in it's full glory! However once I'd finished my wedding at Modershall Oaks I jumped in the car and made the fastest trip ever to try and catch the end of it. I was lucky, at that time of night there was hardly any traffic and I got to see this beauty in her gorgeous dress!!!
Oh and as you can see.....these guys know how to party!!! :)
Sadie looked stunning in her dress and Tom scrubbed up well too but the star of the show had to be their little girl Isobel! She was adorable!
She wasn't the only little cutie there though, there were lots of other beautiful children who were happy to pose all day! I love children at weddings!!
Here's a selection of images from the day....
Enjoy. :)
P.S.... Gorgeous flowers by Natalie's Florist once again!!
Natalie's Florist is a beautiful and fragrant place to be, as soon as you walk through the door your senses are in stimulation overload!
On the day there were lots of different suppliers for brides to be to browse including Dollface Makeup Studio, Decorative Cakes By Donna, Victoria White Bridal Hair & Emma Jane Wedding & Event Management. As soon as the doors opened the shop was packed!
I recommend any of these fabulous suppliers as they're all super talented!!
Blog number three is short and sweet. A trip to Tunstall Park to take some pre-wedding photos. Not surprisingly the kids stole the show so here's a small selection to take a look at!
Not long now until I get to capture this lovely family again for Gemma & Craig's wedding! Just a few more weeks until they say "I Do" at the lovely Wychwood Park. I can't wait!
The venue was packed full with lots of brides to be browsing through some awesome suppliers. As always it was lovely to see the very talented Natalie Shaw of Natalie's Florist as well as the gorgeous Gemma Lucas of Dollface Make-up Studios.
Obviously it was too much of a temptation to leave my camera in the car so here are some images....

Anyway....back to the workshop. Karl was a fabulous host and supplied us with not only his abundance of knowledge but plenty of cake too. Being a cake fiend this made my day complete!
Our model for the day was the gorgeous Chloe Grant, a stunning and edgy blonde with the faintest spattering of freckles. I just ADORE freckles!!!
Here are a few phone snaps of different lighting set-ups taken on the day....
And here are some of the images that I took...
The day started off at Emma's mums for bridal preps. This is always one of my favourite parts of the day. Then we headed off to Hanley registry office for the ceremony. Due to some parking issues the bride was a little late but seeing as the groom made her wait for 14 years I think this was only fair!
Following the ceremony everyone made their way to the gorgeous Upper House in Barlaston for the meal and reception. It is a beautiful venue with lots of lovely places for those perfect pictures.
Speaking of which.....
Enjoy. :)
I'd been looking forward to Nikki & Liam's wedding for a long time and it did not disappoint! Nikki looked every bit the perfect bride in her stunning dress. As for her shoes, if they had been slightly smaller (I am cursed with child size feet!) I would have had to have stolen them for myself. They were just beautiful!
The bridesmaids also shone in a gorgeous shade of red. The boys looked dapper in their uniforms, especially the groom. The whole day was simply gorgeous.
I'm not one for a lot of words, I prefer to share lots of pretty pictures instead. On that note.....enjoy!
After waiting for what seemed like months (but was in fact only weeks) the date came around and I headed off with Natalie to the beautiful Heaton House Farm eager to get started. When Natalie opened the back of her van and I saw the amazing floral masterpieces she'd created I jumped for joy. She truly is a VERY talented lady!
Anyway, I could chatter on and on but instead I'll just let you look through the pictures for yourselves.
Firstly though big shout outs to our talented team for the day!

Just a few of the images from the night.....
Here are a few images from the day....
Gemma & Ant pledged their vows to each other at The Holy Trinity Church in Hartshill. After the ceremony we headed off to The Brampton for a very quick couple of pictures and then off to Wolstanton Social Club. The kids raided the candy cart as soon as they could. In fact I STILL have a stash that they bought home with them!
Here are just a few of the images from their day....
Normally I capture a wedding on my own but last month I was asked if I'd like to second shoot for Ben and Jodie at Rock Art & Photography as one of their fabulous duo was supposed to be working away. Weddings are my favourite thing ever so naturally I said yes! As it turned out Jodie didn't need to go away but they asked if I'd like to still do it anyway. I went with them to meet Adrian and Silvia for a pre-wedding consult and was blown away by Silvia's eyes. They are truly stunning!
On the day Jodie and I started capturing the bridal preps while Ben went with the boys. The girls were all so cute and I had a great time singing along to Frozen songs whilst working. You've got to love a bit of Disney!
After sharing a quick Kit-Kat Mint Chunky with Jodie (just for that added energy boost!) we headed off to St Mary's Church for the ceremony. Adrian and Silvia said their "I Do's" and I was thoroughly enjoying the beauty of the day. It makes a huge difference when there are more than one of you working to get all the details and the day seemed to fly by! It also helped that Ben & Jodie are pretty awesome to work with!
After the service the reception was to take place at the JCB Lakeside Club in Uttoxeter. I've never been there before and have to say the grounds by the lake make for a stunning backdrop.
Here are just a few of my images from the day. To see the full gallery go to http://www.capturedimage1.com/p499817605 (or just pop across to Client Galleries and have a browse!)

Originally we'd planned to do the shoot around four o'clock in the afternoon but on the day both Ben and I agreed that it was far too bright and we'd get some better photographs later on in the evening when the light was a bit softer.
Seven o'clock came and we headed off to fabulous field with long flowing grass, then headed a little further up the road for another field with some pretty yellow flowers. A stunning backdrop indeed.
Jodie & Ben absolutely rocked the shoot. I mean they NAILED it! I was getting so excited I couldn't stop clicking away which in turn had them getting more excited. The result....some utterly GORGEOUS images that I am over the moon with!
Now all we need is for Ben to pop a ring on Jodie's finger so that I can do it all again!!
Anyway, enough of me waffling on, here are some of the images from their shoot! To see all of them take a look in Client Galleries!
Race for Life is an amazing way to celebrate life but to also remind us of those that we have lost.
Here's to kicking cancer where it hurts!!! xx
Here are a few of the photos from the afternoon....she's just so CUTE!!!
I'm going to share a few more of the images from a "Yummy Mummy" session with the lovely Lisa (pictured above). Lisa is also a photographer and is used to being the other side of the camera so this was definitely a new experience for her! She was also very brave and dared to bare a little flesh!!
To book a "Yummy Mummy" session please email me at [email protected].
]]>Here is Lily Grace Humphreys just 6 hours new and weighing 7lb 7oz. She is an absolute stunner and was just so peaceful and content she actually had me broody for a moment!
The girls were rather cheeky little things and would have happily posed for me all day long but sadly I had to leave. Not before having a tickle fest though! I also had lots of hugs.
These are just a few of my favourites from the shoot.
